Dear Resident,
Ilford Town Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) warmly invites you to join us for a special International Women’s Day community event on Sunday 8 March 2026.
This event will take place at Ilford Exchange, located opposite TK Maxx, from 10:30am to 4:00pm.
International Women’s Day is an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of women, raise awareness of issues affecting women and girls, and promote equality, safety, and wellbeing within our communities. On the day, Ilford Town SNT will be joined by a range of partner organisations and community groups, offering information, support, and opportunities for discussion.
Residents will be able to:
- Meet their local Safer Neighbourhood Team officers
- Engage with partner agencies and community services
- Learn about safety, wellbeing, and support available locally
- Take part in conversations celebrating women’s contributions and experiences
The event is free and open to everyone, and we encourage residents of all ages and backgrounds to attend, ask questions, and get involved.
We look forward to welcoming you and working together to celebrate International Women’s Day while strengthening community connections in Ilford.
